About us

50 kilometers far from Budapest in a 13 ha park among enormous trees you can find the Podmaniczky-Hatvany Deutsch Castle which was built in 1805 by classicistic style. Keeping the building's art relic character the castle was rebuilt as a three star castle hotel and it serves the needs of the modern ages on a very high quality by it's 23 antique furnished rooms. In the shadow of the park there is a private beach (with pools for adults and children) tenis and handball courts, open-air barbecue, walking-, bycicling- and horseriding tours offer a convenient atmosphere for revitalizing, relaxing and refreshing for our guests escaping from the city. It is a good place for families and for smaller companies but it can be a romantic venue for bigger events or weddings. Weddings can be organized also inside the castle and outside in the garden with the ceremony. For conferences, trainings and business meetings we offer 3 joinable conference rooms with a capacity of 140 (all together). The conference rooms are equipped by modern technical equipments. Fenyőharaszt Castle awaits visitors – not only guests of the hotel – and offers many of the hotel's services.

The neoclassical style Podmaniczky – Hatvany Deutsch-Castle, built in 1805, is located from 50 km away from Budapest, in a 13-hectare park surrounded by huge, ancient trees. The 3-star castle hotel preserved its historic character, although it has been renewed, offering 23 modernly furnished rooms which meet high standard needs. In the shadow of hundred years old trees of this ancient park, own beach (with children and swimming pools), tennis and handball courses, outdoor fireplaces, walking, bike and horse riding roads have been offering peace, refreshment for guests, who want to run away from the noise and dust of the city. Castle offers pleasant relaxation and active recreation for families and friends, but it is a suitable venue for greater number of events and romantic weddings as well. Weddings can be held – both in the castle and garden-, with the ceremony. Conference room of 140 people with connecting rooms is suitable to organize conferences, trainings and business meetings, equipped with all necessary tecnical equipments for guests. Accessibility

Arriving from Budapest you can reach the castlehotel within 30 minutes on the highway M3. By car or by bus you turn right at the kilometrestone number M3 at Kerekharaszt at the gas-station. Signs will help you to orientate yourself from there. Arriving from Miskolc you can choose the highway number M3 or road 30. Leaving Hatvan turn toward Heréd, than pass through he flyover over highway number M3. Signs will help you from there to orientate yourself.
